"....You've chosen lessons of pain."

I received a message with this video in it yesterday.  I have no idea who the person is who sent it... but, oddly.. this is one of my favorite songs and one I listen to every night.  Headphones on, dark room, and songs to obliterate the thoughts....

All alone you felt (All alone you felt)
Since the angels brought, you, down
Fly, too, high, now, you, have fallen perfectly

Certainly you'll see (Certainly you'll see)
[You] have a special purpose
To share
All, your, dreams, have, come, together perfectly

Could you open your mind
And see the reason
You've chosen lessons of pain
For a warrior's heart
Truth and inspiration
Reminds us to not be afraid

They don't understand (They don't understand)
Though they call themselves, your, friend
Fate, has, brought, you, back, to find your destiny

Should you travel deep (Should you travel deep)
Hear the voices, light, the, way
Souls, .... and, reveal your destiny

Could you open your mind
And see the reason
You've chosen lessons of pain
For a warrior's heart
Truth and inspiration
Reminds us to not be afraid

*instrumental*

Wipe your tears
It's all right
And revel yourself in the truth
You're the strongest heart

All these tears
All these nights lead down a road that seems like a maze yet
All you encounter will make sense in time

Could you open your mind
And see the reason?
You've chosen lessons of pain
For a warrior's heart
Truth and inspiration
Reminds us to not be afraid

Could you open your mind
And see the reason
You've chosen lessons of pain
For a warrior's heart
Truth and inspiration
Reminds us to not be afraid

Could you open your mind
And see the reason
You've chosen lessons of pain
For a warrior's heart
Truth and inspiration
Reminds us to not be afraid

Getting it all off my chest...

Well, it's a little cathartic to be able to vent, to scrutinize, to assess, to get it all out when something's bothering me.  If you want to know exactly what I'm talking about... it's HERE.  PART I and PART II were needed as this was, well, you'll see if you're curious enough to go there and read.  The discussion was about Beta men vs Alpha men and the necessary balance of power in a relationship.  I'm past that now, moving on, and wondering what the hell I'm going to do about my life as it is at the moment... not much of a life at all.  Aren't I always struggling with this?  Don't answer.

Exhaustion overcomes on the other side of stress.  I'm pretty much there at the moment and fighting like hell to defeat its encroachment.  What I'm left with is a familiar struggle to find my strength and focus again.  It's okay.  It is what it is.

I have to face each day like I don't remember the one before.  I can't allow myself to have any regrets, or allow the sense that I lost yet another 24 hours of my life.  There aren't any do-overs.  What I do is wake and think to myself.. "Today is the day."  It's a mantra of sorts, and one that has yet to actually work.

I'm spent.  Working on those two hefty entries has left me with virtually nothing.  So, if you're curious... click on the link above to read the most of today's crapola.

Who's life am I actually living? And if not mine, then a lie.

NOTE:  For anyone new, there's a list of links in the menu column to my other blogs.  I try to keep things specific to whichever blog I'm posting in.. something that was requested/suggested of/to me sometime back.  So if you're like some of the people I know who read understand that the conversation often, though not always, changes from one to the next.  I've made my rounds today, and will be going back to post again in most as I have a bit of catching up to do.

The beautiful thing about being oneself is the notion that you're living your own personal truth.  It doesn't matter if anyone agrees with you or your choices because living truthfully means making no apologies.  Not that bad behavior isn't part of anyone's truth, because as humans we fall far short of being or living perfectly.  Living truthfully really only means that, right wrong or indifferent, all successes and failures, even mistakes... are at the very least completely honest in nature.

I'm not going to talk here about human error that results in hurting someone's feelings, etc.  What I want to focus on is the natural result of living someone else's life.  Some of the deepest wounds ever come from betraying yourself.  I know, because I've done it.

Never allow yourself to be manipulated.  The trick here is to know when you are.  Some people are quite gifted in the art of manipulation and it's only after the damage is done and the sting sets in that you realize what's happened.  Even then, you may only have a guess, because recognition is often difficult and require insight and assistance to fully recognize the culprit.  This also happened in my case.

What is it like to live a lie?

Your subconscious will know and often react much in the same way that you react when your hand accidentally touches a hot pan handle.  You recoil instantly, only inwardly from the immediate danger, and the pain burns on long after you've countered and reacted instinctively.  I believe this is why we often keep reaching for that same hot handle again---because we haven't actually recognized what it is we've done and that it's caused not only pain.. but also damage.  So, we reach again.

From my perspective and experience this same, harmful experience repeats itself endlessly until we finally see what's causing the hurt, the pain, the discomfort.  We're outside of ourselves at this point, feeling the pain, seeing the damage, but unable to comprehend that our own actions are to blame.  That realization, by the way, comes when it comes.  We either see it or we don't and we don't until we do.  This is different for everyone, of course.

I find myself once again in that same perpetual, ongoing and damaging loop of living through someone else's ideals, wants, needs, views, demands, rules, and so on.  And it's not working now just as it didn't work in the past.  This feeling, at the moment, is like not being able to breathe or move, like being bound and gagged and placed in a dark room where my experiences are only ones injected into the dark by another.  This is what living a lie is like.  At least for me.

As I find myself pushing aside my needs as a human being, natural thoughts, opinions, instincts, interests, etc. while adapting that of another, for their comfort, the damage is evident.  Only this time I'm unable to simply allow what isn't me to fall away so I can heal and return to my own life, my own genuine self, my truth.  Reconciling this is damn hard, I'll be honest.

All those things I enjoy, want, dream of, hope for and need are cemented beneath the very solid ground on which another stands.  It's not pre-meditated, but it is a form of oppression.  I've been here before and the result wasn't pretty at all.  I healed, mostly, but the scars are deep, distinct, and still tender.  But at least I know they're there, why they're there.

This is my struggle yet again, fighting to always remember who and what I am while being basically forced to live through someone else's life.  It's a very slippery slope.

Regaining my health and my strength is CRITICAL right now.  There's no respite from this, really.  No decompression chamber where I'm free to just be who I am and take care of myself the way that is positively vital to my well-being.

.... More later.  At the moment the pain demands I give it attention.

When Past Experiences Fade.

What I've found is that our past really does change us.  It doesn't change WHO we are, per se, but it certainly changes how we think and how we approach familiar, yet uncomfortable, situations in the future.  Once the damage is done it's done.  We can seek counseling, religion, friends or family to aid in the healing process, but we can't change the scars that remain once the healing is complete.  And this is IF the healing is complete.  Some of us never quite reach that level of healing, unfortunately.

I'm not going to say I'll never heal from my past unfortunate experiences, and I totally accept the fact that the scars are there for a reason; We can't wish or hope or anger them away.  And why would we?

For me, the damage left by awful experiences of past relationships aren't always apparent or noticeable.  With each day's accomplishments and trials the past may be readily in focus or blurred beyond recognition.  My mind only calls up what it needs, or what it believes is relevant.  Is it always actually relevant?  Of course not, so it's up to me to determine what's what and act accordingly.  For example, being disrespected usually brings past experiences readily to the forefront.  It is what it is.  And during those times when the ugly parts of the past fades... I don't question the opacity of the lens I'm viewing through but accept the gift and move through my day.

The past doesn't always color my world, and I'll take the blurry days over the stark reality of the scars left from an emotionally-violent past.  Today is one of those blurry days, and I'm grateful for that little gift.  But it doesn't mean I've forgotten.  There isn't any way I can forget.

I remember because of the scars.  I remember because I'm not lost on the value of the lesson.  I remember because those memories, painful as they are, keep me in-check much like the painful burn of a flame that makes us pull back before too much harm is done.  I remember because I'm supposed to.

The sum of me, all the parts that make up the whole, is only whole when I'm aware.  I can't bury or ignore those dark experiences that hurt and changed me no more than I can bury or ignore those great experiences that made my spirit soar to amazing heights, that inspired me.  Acceptance is healing, and it's a place I can thrive in.

It's time for me to sign off.  I'm cold, tired, and it's time to just heal a little while.....

Irrelevance

Choosing what's important from day to day can be a problem for me.  I mean, when situations reveal themselves I then have the opportunity to choose where within the timeline of importance it needs to be... for me anyway.  Why, then, is it that so much ends up being tossed into the box of irrelevance?  Does the hierarchy of meaningful events and such mean anything at all anymore?  Or is it that this lowered quality of life dictates what importance is placed on any given thing on any given day?  Could it be that I've really lost that much control already?

Sitting at my computer is hardly being productive.  Being this sick all of the time makes it impossible to be productive.  And the waning importance of BEING productive tells me that the changes I'm enduring in my life cannot be ignored.  And yet here I am weighing the benefits to risk ratio against a timeline I can't even see anymore.

Random Thoughts at 3am

I had to make that meme.  I suppose it's just that one goofy part of me (sense of humor) that refuses to buckle under the health issues.  Yeah, I'm just ninja like that.

ANYHOO....Insomnia is a fickle bedfellow these days.  Incredibly unpredictable, I never quite know what it is I'm facing when I get into bed each night.  There's something triggering me to wake up when I go to bed, but I've yet to pinpoint exactly what that is.  Even nodding off on the sofa prior to going to bed doesn't guarantee I'll sleep once I get there, and in fact... it's almost a given now that I'm going to be waiting up, tossing and turning, until the wee hours of the night.  And what does this do besides keep me tired and exhausted?  For one, I get strange dreams, ones I really could've done without.  No, not nightmares... just dreams.  But still...

So it's 2am, 3am.. and stupid, random thoughts pop into my brain, which triggers more thinking, thinking, thinking... blah blah blah.  Damn.  Seriously.  WTH?  Most of it isn't even worth thinking about, I promise.

Okay, so falling back asleep this morning in hopes of getting about 5 hours I had a dream, and one that puzzles the crap out of me.  Well, I suppose most dreams don't make sense, right?  They're usually random babbling and broken intel of things we are either not dealing with, dealing with poorly, or unaware that we need to deal, you know, with those things.  But what about those dreams that aren't as chaotic and confusing?  What about the dreams that leave us thinking.. "Wow. That was so REAL!"  What about THOSE dreams?  You know the kind I'm talking about.

If your dream makes sense, what's the message?  That's the big question, isn't it?

I'm not sure what to make of my dream.  The content, which I'm not wanting to talk about, I think I understand, but my REACTION to it is yet another thing entirely.  It made me sad, seeing what I saw in the dream, though the actual thing happening wasn't a sad thing at all.  So.. wth gives?

Sorry to be vague about the dream itself, but some things are just TOO revealing of my own thoughts and feelings, feelings I'd rather keep to myself.  I'm trusting my instincts on this.  I may actually talk about this stuff in detail at some point, but I prefer to wait until I'm ready.  Hope you guys understand.

The other crazy thing that's happened today, post-dream, is that I feel a little anxious about my future.  It's like I'm being forced to assess what I want and how I plan to go about getting what I want, in terms of my future, happiness, health, and so on.  I don't have the luxury of being on auto-pilot, so introspection and continually assessing where I am and where I'm heading is really important.  T is more of an auto-pilot type, and it's not always easy for someone like me who's trying to take the wheel of my own life to be around someone who's just, well, letting life happen to him.  Not to say that his life is bad, because he's really chill and content most of the time.  I like to see where I'm heading, though, so laying back and riding the current isn't going to work for me right now.  Not sure it will ever work, to tell you the truth.

I wish I knew what my subconscious was trying to tell me.  I have a guess, but I don't LIKE that guess so am keeping an open mind and hoping I'm full of it. ;p

That's a lot of writing for someone who's as tired as I am.  Sheesh....

Why are You in My Face Again?

Far be it from me to stop anyone from having their own opinion and expressing them.  However, if you're spewing hate and rhetoric on my FB posts, then we really need to talk...

Lately I have one nemesis, and it's someone who touts being a conservative/republican but behaves like a total left-wing extremist.  Whatever.  I know this person in real life and have to interact with him and his wife on occasion due to my being a customer at their place of business.  So be it.  But there's a huge problem I'm having now with this guy vomiting ugly comments and replies on my FB posts... aimed at military members and veterans on my friends list.  THAT will NEVER EVER be okay.

So while the above person is just a representation for my point here, I think it's time I laid down the facts about what I think about taking a dump on other people's pages....

You don't have to [take a mind dump].  If you want to take a big ole steamy brain dump, do so on YOUR OWN PAGE.  Using the word "YOU" here loosely, as that person doesn't read my blogs.  This is not directed to anyone reading, just to be clear.  I'm basically speaking my mind about good old fashioned manners, etiquette, and just having some freaking class when it comes to dealing with others.  Not to say it won't ever get heated, because it's in our natures as human beings for that to occur.

Shit happens.  Or, "Feces Occur," if you will.

I read a lot that I don't agree with.  I see a lot I don't agree with.  Yes, there are things that offend me.  No, I don't usually react to them and simply go right on past to the next thing.  So why is it that doing the least confrontational thing is so lost on some?

Ugh.

Some folks need a brain enema...

Seriously.

Redirect

I need a complete and total redirect in my life, and I'm the only one who can effectively do this.  Yet, I wake up each day wondering exactly how to make it happen.  Today is yet another one of those days.

There are times when the wounds of my past don't haunt me.  I think that's fairly normal across the board, that there will be good days and bad days and days when you're strong or weak or unsure.  On the days when things are good I don't think much beyond what I really need to do in the present, getting well, learning more about what I'm dealing with so I'm prepared and know what to do and how to proceed with my life.

Today isn't a good day, starting from the moment I woke up...

T isn't the easiest person to live with.  He creates these situations that promote stress and drama and it's completely and totally unnecessary.  In the age of technology we have options for communication, and those options provide secondary options as to how we deal with people at any given moment.  When someone calls and you can't talk--let it go to VM and read it at your convenience.  If It's an emergency, that person will most likely follow it with a text or another PC.  If you get a text and it doesn't require an immediate response, or even if it does, and you CAN'T respond--simply don't.  Read it later, read it then, reply later.. those are options the receiver has.  Isn't that an easy concept?  I mean, I certainly think so.

For the better part of a couple of years now I have told T this: "If I text you with information you don't have to text back or call me right away.  Sending you information doesn't mean an immediate response is necessary.  Read it, don't read it, deal with it when you can."  I think that's a pretty clear indication that I don't require a response.  I've also told him if it's an URGENT situation I will call, and if it's an EMERGENCY I will call 911 (if it's me), or I will keep calling so he gets the sense of urgency.  Again, I think that's pretty clear, right?

So this morning I realized I'd forgotten to remind T about a couple of REALLY IMPORTANT matters, and I chose to send him a text message, rather than an email.  And what does he do?... call me immediately and begin whining about my texting him.  Well, alrighty then, Ace... you're officially on your own now, and if you mess up and forget to cross that T and dot that I then it will be solely on you, as well as the COST.  Don't blame me.

Why do people do this anyway?  Why not just do what most of us do and ignore a text when we can't deal with it right then?---responding to the urgent ones are a different story, of course.  Still, is that drama necessary?  No, I don't think so.

But now the peace and serenity I strive for each day, beginning with the start of my day, is shattered.  Not only am I stressed out now but feeling the physical effects of that stress, something that isn't at all comfortable when your body doesn't have enough cortisol (Prednisone suppresses that HUGELY) to handle that stress.  I just don't understand why people do this.

My goal is to regain my health and my strength and stamina, my vitality.  I understand that achieving that goal is a process, a mindset, and a choice.  I've chosen to take care of myself, but I break that promise every day.  Anyone who knows what it's like to let yourself down knows how far that can set one back.  But I forgive myself for falling short and move ahead as best I can.

A stronger me, a healthier me could handle these things much better.  I've spoken to T at length about AIH, the heart issues, etc... and explained to him what I'm dealing with, what the medical facts are, what I can do and not do and what I need from him.  Those conversations, btw, are completely ONE-SIDED.  I talk, he sits there, and he doesn't provide input, doesn't ask questions, doesn't give feedback, doesn't have a single thing to say.  Well then, okay.  At least he was warned.

You see, T gushes about how he 'does care,' how he's 'plugged in,' how he 'hears' me, and so on.  But he really doesn't, and he really isn't, and it's a choice.  He hasn't taken 10 minutes to read anything or learn anything about what I'm going through.  In other words, he's oblivious, and it's by choice.  He puts absolutely no effort into any of this.

....and it leaves me exhausted.

I've been down this road before, where someone proclaims loudly that they're plugged in and present,  that they care, that they love me, etc.  I sat mostly in silence during that situation, at least until the pressure, confusion, and the hurt tapped the pendulum and set it swinging back and forth between wanting to believe that but seeing the results match with the words.  That situation was also full of chronic projection on the part of the other person, accusing me of the very thing he was doing.  Here, with T at least, he isn't doing that.  He at least isn't projecting what he does, doesn't do, says or doesn't say onto me.  THAT is a major improvement from what I experienced in the past, but it's still not enough.

If all you have is refraining from hurting someone, if all you bring to the table is your body, if all you offer is criticism and complaints and character assassination, then you need to excuse yourself from the table and leave that person in PEACE.  T does try at times, I'll give him that, and he rarely criticizes me.  When T does become critical he realizes he's being an ass and eventually apologizes.

Here is my world, my life as it is right now.  Decay from the past stinking up the place, and an indifferent person who can't recognize how damaging and cold his indifference is.  HE is not a cold person, though.

Yes, I'm defending T.  He at least can see some things when I point them out.  Now whether he remembers the experience and learns from it, well, that's an entirely different matter altogether.

Today I need a redirect.  Today I need to find my direction once again.  Today will be one more day that I "manage to get through" because of sheer willpower.  It's all I have to work with, and it's a little shaky.  But I have to use something.  DO something.

I don't know why the past haunts me to this day, but I'm guessing it's because there was never any closure as the person I fell in love with never existed.  If you've read my other blogs along the way you would understand what I mean by this.  I fell in love with a man behind a mask, and when the mask slipped and revealed his true nature.. it was too late.  You can't say goodbye to someone that never existed.

Still dealing.  Still wounded.  Still lost and confused.  Still me in here somewhere.

....Somewhere.

The Crap I Spew

Oh, but you've no idea how many times since I created my first blog that I wanted SOOOOO much to use that title.  And trust me, this is something I've wanted to do since my Myspace days, which began over 10 years ago.  Ha!  But I do still have my sense of humor, even if only the few actually get it.

I'm good with that.

So what about this "Crap I Spew"?  Well, I may very well start yet a new blog and title it just that.  Maybe I just need something that allows me to... wait, okay.  This all sounds very familiar, doesn't it?  Like I need yet another blog.  I mean, isn't FOUR enough? lol  I like keeping things orderly, and maybe that's why I've been comfortable separating the 'goings-on' into categories, split into separate blogs for separate 'blah-blah-blah-ings.' But who the hell cares, right?  Read them.  Don't read them.  I wouldn't know, would I?  I mean, either way, unless someone emails me, calls, texts, or whatever... how the hell would I know?

Okay, so I can feel it in my bones, the crazy side of me needing to be set free so she can run amok, nekkid, in the abyss known as the internet.

The Crap I Spew... coming soon to my blogger account.  HOT-DAMN but I'm going to make it a 'thing' after all these years....

...a girl needs goals.

PART II: Today is not the best day for that

Having set the stage for my life once again I'm faced with difficult decisions, and in the midst of a health crisis of sorts.  Which reminds me, I didn't mention in my last entry that I crashed pretty hard while tapering down the prednisone, called my GI doctor.. who had me step up the dosage back to 30mg/day from my lowest taper.. which was 10mg.  ALL those awful symptoms returned with a vengeance, and other GI issues became much worse.  I couldn't handle it anymore.  So my appointment on the 28th has been moved to Monday, tomorrow, the 10th, and he wants me to be there at 7:15am so I can be the first patient.  There was mention of possibly adding Imuran, the a immunosuppressant.  We'll see what he says when I get there.  But I'll tell you, that first night he told me to up the dosage again.. I did to 25mg (so as not to take too high of a dose at bedtime) and woke feeling better the next morning.  And yesterday and today.. I can really tell the difference.  Doc says that knowing where symptoms begin returning tells him where my maintenance dose will be.

So there's that.

When I felt as if my body were made of lead the other day, as my eyes and face began swelling again, as I felt that hint of health fading rapidly, I realized what trouble I was really in.  I mean, when you're at the whim of whatever ails your body to that degree every move you make becomes a reality check.  Every single decision I make is a reality check.  My body reminds me every single day that I have to make my decisions wisely and with my own best interests in mind.

That's something that's long overdue, btw.

So much still going on with my health, and the unresolved and worsening symptoms will, or should be addressed tomorrow morning at my appointment.  Eventually I will have a handle on this thing, and we're at least finally getting to the bottom of what's wrong.  Armed with that knowledge I can begin to take control of my life again, and in a way that promotes a healthier, happier me.

Overcast

So how's the weather?  Yes, at times this is probably the safest question to ask me.  When I don't have answers for myself, when the question concerns something that is beyond ridiculously difficult, I'm not always willing to dive in face-first and have a happy little discussion about it.  At the moment, if anyone asks, my standard response is akin to a shrug, really.  Honesty, because I have nothing to add to the discussion.  Trust me, I'm doing you a favor when I do this.

Don't push for answers--please; I most likely don't have any.  It's not that I'm at a loss for words, but who the hell wants to listen to me prattle on in contemplation over something I've yet to wrap my head around much less have answers for?  Yeah... you're reading this entry and feeling it now, aren't you?  Yeah.  I won't apologize for being sick or its effects on me, but I will say to anyone who's felt or sensed my withdrawal of late--this should resolve in time, and thanks for hanging in there.

So today's weather---overcast.  And for some reason I find that immensely soothing in ways I cannot possibly explain.

It's all self-explanatory, really...

A Comfortable Position

Realistic; it's the new optimistic.  I can't change the facts, but I can change what I accept, what I don't accept, and how I deal with said facts...

Now, we've all heard the phrase.. "I can't change anyone else, but I CAN change ME."  And yes, that's true. But what this phrase doesn't address is how OTHERS can also change us!  In fact, it's the words and behaviors of others that do the most damage, or the most good, and it's often done with little effort on your part as a 'receiver' because while you may be ignoring, making excuses for, or actively doing whatever it takes to protect yourself... those words and behaviors touch your subconscious.  And this often happens in the most insidious of ways.  If you're dealing with someone who is NOT concerned about your best interest, OR you're dealing with a narcissist, then you're going to be in BIG trouble, my friend.  VERY big trouble.

Will I ever really heal?

I can't give an exact timeline, if there actually IS one, but I can keep moving can't I?  Can't I just keep moving like what's wounded is more like a muscle than my entire soul?  Won't this make it better in time, all this moving, shifting, changing?  While I can't answer the questions myself, the fact that I'm asking them means I'm still heading towards healing.  At least that's the way "I" see it.

Does this moving involve pushing down what I know is damage done, or does it mean I simply find a way to navigate around it through the course of my everyday life?  Now this is something I may or may not be able to figure out over time, but my thinking at the moment is that, at least for now, moving definitely means navigating around the damage I know is there, what is hurting.  All this shifting about to find a comfortable 'position' within myself only works for a short time, not much unlike when you've been sitting too long.  It does help for a little while.

Why not sugar-coat what is, put on the rose-colored glasses, numb the pain, the truth... just numb it all?  Because that's just one more tiresome temporary solution.  What I need is a final, definitive cure to the deep wounds within.  Isn't that what anyone wants when they come out of a dark situation?  Of course.  Why not?  We can long for, desire, and obtain (eventually) that which we deserve---freedom from pain and a gain of our self, whole, and undamaged as possible.

The side effects of being with a narcissist are far-reaching, undeniable, and long lasting.  Even out of the relationship they plague everything, poison the good, and pinch the wounds that refuse to heal.  They linger in the very air we breathe at times, even when we're not aware of it.  At least that's how it is with me.  Then suddenly they come crashing through again, ultimately pushing me back to square one for a time.  It's always there.  We don't forget.  "I" don't forget.  I can't forget.  The scars are a part of me now.

I still deal with it because I have to.  Or rather... I don't really DEAL with those side effects; it's more like I ENDURE them.  I mean, isn't that what most of us do until we, well, don't?

Results but no answers

First off, I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving!!!  No matter what's going on in our lives and the world we still can find much to be thankful for.  :)

Okay, so the CT w/contrast results came back and, well, it shows a few unsettling details.  Not entirely frightening or anything, but a little unexpected and confusing.  Naturally, I have to wait for my follow-up in January to get answers regarding the findings on the pulmonary function test, and as well as the new CT findings...

So, I get my copy of the CT w/contrast results and am encouraged at first by the word "stable" with regards to an enlarged lymph node... 1.7cm x 1.1cm at this time... but then I realized that the word you really WANT to see in lymph node findings is "reactive."  Basically reactive means due to an inflammatory or infection situation.  Ok.  The radiologist's report said to watch and follow up with other investigations.  I'm honestly, to tell you the truth, not all that concerned with this particular finding.

Still showing mild, scattered scarring, but below are a few new findings...

"There is a small amount of new and some slightly larger left pleural nodularity at the same level posteriorly and medially and also anteriorly..."  Will say more about this in a moment...

"There are a few areas of left pleural focal thickening that are new in areas and slightly larger in other areas, including at the level of the above-mentioned LLL nodule.  These can be reassessed on a short-term follow-up CT to see if they persist."

Mostly I'm not happy about the pleural nodules, nor about the pleural thickening.  So, I guess the saga continues as to what is what and what is to be done, if anything.

Results... but no answers.  *shrugs*  I'm not going to focus on this.  Being aware is the most important thing.  And as a matter of importance.. environment, both physical and mental/emotional is key to getting healthy.

Guess that's all I have to say at the moment---packing and moving things to the new house.

For now... just breathe... :)
